Nintex + Orangutech: WFH – Workflow for Humans
Forms, Workflow, and eSignatures on Microsoft 365 – A Shared Services Canada case study
Since March, many organizations have had to adapt quickly to the new world of working from home. This includes the Government of Canada, as they needed to implement a full-scale Office 365 rollout during the pandemic. However, this came with several challenges.
The foundational Government of Canada Department, Shared Services Canada, delivers digital services to the many Government of Canada departments. With a multitude of requests and approvals flying in, Shared Services Canada wanted to help their Procurement department enable approvals on their mobile devices, but they lacked efficiency, struggled with errors, and required a method of approving while on the go.
Watch this on-demand session with a 2020 Nintex Partner Award Winner and a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner: Orangutech. Jesse McHargue, Nintex Senior Solutions Engineer, and Tim Peterson, Orangutech Chief Delivery Officer, will discuss how Orangutech found a solution for Shared Services Canada using many aspects of the Nintex Process Platform, including Nintex Workflow, Nintex Forms, and Nintex DocGen® in Office 365. You’ll hear about the importance of:
- Mobility – Allow push notifications when e-signatures are required and use 2-factor authentication to allow users to sign within the app
- Efficiency: time is money – Reduce process steps and overall completion time for the sole source procurement process and classification action requests
- Consistency – Eliminate missing information errors by using mandatory fields and rules-based form fields with no-code automation
