You will drive the creation and evolution of the Nintex Design System, including multi-platform libraries, design tokens, versioning, governance, and accessibility, maximizing user adoption and reusability. You will define and deliver exceptionally high quality, usable design components that drive efficiency and consistency across end-to-end customer, partner, and employee-facing experiences.
Your contribution will be:
Design System Leadership

- Drive the creation of components and patterns in Figma, ensuring component consistency with code, Information Architecture, tokens alignment, definition of variants, auto-layout, proper utilization of plugins, version control, accessibility, and best practices. Ensure the design assets your team creates maintain the highest of quality standards and are thoroughly documented with usage guidelines that connect and resonate with the teams using the design system.
- Collaborate effectively with developers to create and maintain coded components for our base component library and design system.
- Write clear, comprehensive documentation to help designers and developers apply system components and guidelines effectively.
- Continuously improve and evolve the design system based on user feedback, technology advancements, and product landscape changes.
Migration & Integration
- Lead the migration of existing products to the design system, ensuring a seamless transition while prioritizing the “Designer Experience.”
- Update or replace legacy components to align with system guidelines and modern standards.
- Create a governance and contribution model for versioning and extending the component library and design system to support contributions from partners and internal teams.
Support & Advocacy
- Act as a champion for the design system, educating teams on its benefits and best practices through presentations, workshops, and ongoing communication.
- Provide support and manage feedback channels to address user concerns, ensuring the system meets the needs of both internal teams and end users.
To be successful, we think you need:
- 5+ years designing Consumer or B2B SaaS software products. 2+ years leading design system teams.
- Proficiency in developing scalable design and code libraries, crafting comprehensive documentation, and evolving systems to meet changing needs.
- Experience defining the visual style of products; bonus if this includes brand integration and multi-brand systems.
