Manager, Revenue Operations

About the role:

The Revenue Operations & Programs Manager will provide direct support to the Revenue organization and own process & systems improvements, compensation design and data governance.  

As a key business partner to the CRO (Chief Revenue Officer) and Revenue leaders, this Manager has the technical skills and business acumen to own & execute compensation strategy & design, optimize order fulfillment and other revenue generation processes, oversee the company’s revenue-related tech stack, and run data governance in partnership with other departments.

Your contribution will be:

Process Optimization: 

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve revenue generation processes from lead gen to deal close.  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Finance) to implement process enhancements that accelerate revenue cycles. 

Compensation Program Management 

  • Evaluate and design sales compensation plans and incentive programs that drive desired behaviors and align with company objectives.  
  • Implement compensation process improvements & automation. 
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of compensation plans, adjusting as necessary to drive performance. 

Tech Management: 

  • Work in partnership w/ the CIO to drive the selection, implementation and integration of the company’s revenue tech stack (e.g., CRM, CPQ, marketing automation) 
  • Evaluate and leverage evolving tech solutions to increase rep productivity, operational efficiency and cost savings. 

Data Governance 

  • In partnership with Finance, develop and implement data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data integrity and compliance. 
  • Monitor and enforce data quality standards and procedures across the organization within CRM and other data tools. 
  • Implement processes for data cleansing and validation to maintain high-quality data. 

To be successful, we think you need:

  • 7+ years of experience in revenue operations or similar role 
  • 7+ years experience working in software or SaaS.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.   
  • Deep understanding of sales processes, CRM systems and revenue management practices 
  • Demonstrated skills and passion for problem solving and operational excellence with a proven ability to design & implement scalable solutions. 
  • Advanced skills in data analysis using MS Excel, performance measurement, and reporting. 
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines and provide well-vetted reporting and business recommendations.  
  • Significant Experience with Salesforce CRM and Excel required 
  • Executive presentation skills and ability to engage with senior leadership and cross-functionally across departments
